School Based Occupational Therapist | Oak Harbor, WA | Starting Pay $48/Hour

ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district in Oak Harbor, WA to hire a full time, licensed, occupational therapist for the spring semester. You'll be working with a K-12th grade caseload at one school site conducting initial evaluations + re-evaluations and assisting with compensatory services. Additionally this position will be responsible for writing and updating IEPs, consult to staff and Medicaid billing. This is an onsite position that will be contracted through ProCare Therapy and will offer competitive hourly pay starting at $48/hour which is negotiable depending on experience + healthcare benefits. The district would prefer candidates who have experience working in a school setting. An active occupational therapist license is required. Knowledge of school based OT practices or experience working in schools is preferred. More details regarding the caseload and specifics of the role can be provided during an interview with the special education director. Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree required
  • Active Occupational Therapist license required
  • In schools experience preferred
  • Fingerprinting, drug screen, TB test & DC Metro PD background check will be required of all candidates
  • Special education experience required
  • Interest in schools and education preferred
